Registration is now open for our NEW Beginner Disc Golf Program!   

Saco Disc Golf Club is designed for participants in grades 3rd-8th with little to no disc golf experience. The program is an introduction to the growing sport of disc golf. Participants will learn the rules of the game, correct form and technique, along with terminology used in the sport. Each participant will receive a 3 pack of disc golf discs: a putter, mid-range, and driver disc. Disc golf combines elements of Frisbee and golf together and is a great way to get outside.

SPR Disc Golf Club will be led by SPR programmer Joe Paul. Joe has been playing and enjoying the sport for over 20 years.

Seats are limited to provide individual tailored instruction for participants and will fill quickly. Registration will be open through May 1st, 2025, or as space allows. Register today!

*Adults are encouraged to stay and learn the sport with their participant. 
 

Spring 2025 Season Details
  • SPR Staff: Joseph Paul
  • Season Dates: 4 week program held on Tuesdays, May 6, 2025, through May 27, 2025;
  • Who: Ages 6th grade through 8th grade
  • No equipment required: SPR will provide distance drivers, mid-range drivers, and putters. Participants are encouraged to buy their own discs
  • Practice Location: Saco Recreation Complex at Foss Road

Registration Info
  • Cost: $50.00 Res; $55.00 Non-Resident
  • Equipment: Three disc starter pack is included with program cost
  • Deadline: Registration open through May 1st, 2025 or as space allows. Registrations received after May 2nd will include a $5.00 late registration fee.
