SPR is introducing a brand new program! The Glow in the Dark Wiffle Ball Tournament. Teams of 4-8 will play together on a team in a double elimination style tournament. The tournament will take place SATURDAY, AUGUST 23rd. from 8-11 PM at Memorial fields located next to CK Burns school. 

You will sign up as a team, the fees are $40 dollars for an adult team and $20 dollars for a kids team. The winning teams will receive prizes. Please sign up everyone on your perspective team to register. But only one player will need to make the payment for the team. If you are in separate MyRec accounts please make note of it as only one person should be billed per team. Members of your team may have to create their own accounts on MyRec to sign up. 

If you do not have a team but are still interested in playing. You may sign up in the free agent pool and be placed on a team for the tournament. The free agent pool will be open for both divisions. 

RULES
We will be using traditional wiffle balls and traditional yellow bats.This will be a 4 inning double elimination style tournament. We will be playing 2 outs per inning. No new inning will be able to start after 40 minutes except for the championship rounds. There will be an automated strike zone designated behind the plate, if you hit the zone it will be a strike. With 5-8 players on your team you can have 4 play in the field per inning. You may have 5-8 people hit in your lineup. Up to the team captains discretion. 

There will be a kids division and an adults division. The kids division participants may choose to play in the adult division but the other way around will not be allowed. The kids division is for people 12 and younger. 

There will be concessions available for both participants and spectators. Games will be under a time limit so we will either reach the inning mark or the time limit mark for the game to end. Each game will have an SPR supervisor umpiring to make sure fair play is enforced.
