Track and Field - Fall Outdoor Introduction and Conditioning - Intro to Outdoor Track In these introductory programs athletes will learn the fundamentals of traditional track and field events such as sprints, middle and long distance running, hurdles, softball throw, standing long jump, and baton relays. We aim to teach proper form and focus, and of course enjoy some fun games once we've worked hard!Intro to Outdoor Track will be offered for athletes grades K-2. Outdoor Track and Conditioning will be offered for grades 3-5, please note that this division will include harder workouts and more vigorous exercise than the younger division. Throughout the session, athletes will have progress recorded to show their growth and personal improvement. If conditions permit, we plan to end the season with a final meet. Participants will receive an SPR Track T-shirt and Track Medal. Come run, jump, and throw with us!
