Summer Recreation Counselors and Twin City Theater Academy
Overview of hiring timeline for summer 2022: Summer applications will be accepted starting March 1st, 2022, with interviews scheduled during April vacation to fill vacancies as needed in our K-8 Summer Camps and Twin City Theater Academy. Applicants must be at least 15 years old prior to June 1, 2022.
Spring-Fall Seasonal Help. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about current seasonal parks positions.
Summer 2022: Must be lifeguard certified or ability to be certified by June 15, 2022 - SPR is willing to reimburse for certification. Applicants must be age 16 or older. Lifeguard applications can be submitted starting in March 2022. Hourly rates of pay typically vary between $15-$18/hour, depending on experience and role.
School Year 2021-2022:
Updated 7/7/2021: We are still accepting applications for school year '21-'22 programs!
Typical Application Process and Program Information:
Programs are offered Monday-Friday for after school services and full day options on holidays, vacation weeks, or professional development days for educators.
Applications will be accepted starting in July 2021 and ongoing throughout the school year as positions are needed.
Seasonal Recreation Employees during the school year may work in After School programs and/or Fall, Winter & Spring Programs including youth sports and special events. Applicants must be at least 15 yrs old and have a flexible availability including after school, some evenings and some weekends. To apply, follow the application process outlined above.
