News: Registration and Payment Troubleshooting
How do I make a payment?
Saco Parks and Recreation accepts payments for our programs either online through your sacorec.com household account, or in person at the SPR Office at the Saco Community Center. We cannot take payments on the phone. If there is a fee for the program, we cannot hold the registration for you without a payment. Our computer system does not save any credit card information. We accept cash, checks, and debit/credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).

“This activity requires a membership…” and I cannot make a payment.
Our Summer Camp, School’s Out, and Theater Academy programs all require you to submit paperwork to the SPR office, complete an enrollment process, and pay a registration fee before you can purchase days of service or shows. Please visit the program’s payment page or newspage to find the required forms and enrollment directions.
Is my registration confirmed?
Every time you register for one of our programs, whether there is a fee or not, you will immediately receive an email receipt/confirmation. If you do not receive this email, your registration is not confirmed. Please contact the office for assistance.

My account shows “Already Registered” but my payment did not go through.
If you did not complete the payment steps of the registration, and you attempt to register again, the computer system will falsely indicate that you are “already registered” for the program.
This can happen if you either:
- Take longer than 15 minutes to complete the transaction causing it to “time out”, or
- Hit the “back” button in your internet browser after you began the payment process.
For assistance: Please contact the office, or wait 24 hours for the invoice to clear itself out. If this happens when the office is closed, please reach out immediately via voicemail or email so we know about the issue and can resolve it for you quickly.

My account is reporting “Incorrect Grade/Age.”
Please make sure that you have selected the correct account member. You will see an option to “Change Member” next to the Activity Registration in the very first step of the process.
Grade-based programs: If your child does not have a grade assigned to their account, you will not be able to register them for any program that is organized by grades instead of age. Please contact the office to make this update.

Wait Lists
Most SPR Programs have a wait list available if the program reaches maximum enrollment. There is no fee to use the wait lists, and you are not obligated to participate if a spot does become available. You are able to add yourself or another household member to the wait lists from home (with the exception of the School’s Out Program) through your sacorec.com account. Openings might become available in two scenarios; either we are able to expand the program and add seats, or we receive cancellations of existing registrations. Registering for a wait list does not guarantee that a spot will become available for you. If one does become available, we will contact you immediately.
Discounts for SENIORity Programs
If you have a current SENIORity Membership, and there is a discount available for a SENIORity activity, your account will automatically apply your discount at the very end of the payment transaction. If you believe your discount was not applied correctly, please contact the office.

Discounts for Families Approved for Fee Waivers
If you have been approved for a Fee Waiver discount for our Summer Camp or School’s Out programs, your discount will be applied automatically at the very end of the payment transaction. If you believe your discount was not applied correctly, please contact the office.

Maximum Unpaid Balance
If you have an outstanding balance on your household account, you may not be able to purchase any additional programs. Once you are logged in to your account on sacorec.com, go to “My Account.” If you have an outstanding balance, there will be a red banner near the top of your dashboard saying “You have balances owed.” Please hit “Click here to pay” and process payment for your balance. If your account is linked to another account with an outstanding balance, you may encounter this problem.
