Saco Parks and Recreation Summer Camp 2026 Information Page

Summer fun starts here!
This summer, campers can look forward to a dynamic mix of creative, hands-on activities right on campus, exciting community outings and local field trips, and special on-site entertainment events. As in past years, we’re proud to partner with the Saco School Department to support and complement their summer learning initiatives.

SPR K-8 Summer Camp Info:
Dates: June 22 - August 14, 2026
Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
Who: students entering grades K-8 in the 2026-2027 school year
Locations: Grades K-1 Camp at the Saco Community Center, Grades 2-3 Camp at Fairfield School, Grades 4-5 Camp at the C.K. Burns School, Grades 6-8 Camp at the Saco Community Center

SPR K-8 Summer Camp Enrollment:
Phase 1: Opens April 1, 2026 for Saco and Dayton residents
Phase 2: Opens April 21, 2026 to everyone 
Non-refundable Enrollment Fee: $30.00 Saco residents, $35.00 non-residents (including Dayton)

Pricing Options:
Weekly: $250.00 resident/$275.00 non-resident
Full Summer: $1700.00 resident/$1825.00 non-resident – requires a deposit of $500/$550 per child. Final payment due by June 5.
Camp registrations: Once your enrollment form is reviewed and the enrollment fee is billed to your account by the SPR office, you’ll be able to register your child for camp.

Financial Aid: 
Fee waiver awards offer reductions of 25%, 50%, or 75% to Saco residents based on household income.  Comprehensive documentation of all household income and expenses must be submitted with your paperwork.  Applications will be accepted starting March 16, 2026. Awards will not be given until after April 1, 2026.  Awards are limited and will be given in the order we receive the applications.

Calendars:
Camp schedules for June and July will be finalized and emailed to families in early June, including detailed field trip information. August camp calendars will follow later in July, giving families plenty of time to plan.

Emergency Medications:
For the safety of all campers, any camper who has a prescribed emergency medication (inhalers, EpiPens, or Benadryl) must have their medication submitted to Saco Parks & Recreation for us to hold for the full duration of their summer camp attendance.  Emergency medications must be turned in to the SPR Office starting the week of June 8, with a hard deadline of Wednesday, June 17. Campers will not be permitted to attend without required emergency medication on file.
