USTA Tennis in the Parks
Saco Parks and Recreation is excited to partner with USTA Tennis for an instructional tennis program this spring for young athletes in grades 1 through 5!  Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally, and play.  It’s perfect for beginners or first-time players! This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets and court sizes, and the latest fun, engaging activities that help them successfully learn and play the game quicker.

All players in their first session receive and keep a new age-appropriate racquet and a ball!  

USTA Tennis in the Parks - Summer 2023 Program Info
  • Coach: USTA Tennis Instructor Andra Yanchenko
  • Season Dates: Mondays, May 6th to June 17th (rain date June 24th, 2024)
  • Grades 1-2 : 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
  • Grades 3-5 : 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Location: Young School Tennis Courts North St, Saco, ME (across from the Fire Station)
  • Program Max: 8 participants (minimum of 7 required to run session)
  • Season Fee: $75.00
  • Equipment: All players in their first session receive and keep a new age-appropriate racquet, and a ball!
