Tennis - USTA New England Tennis in the Parks - The tennis program where kids play while they learn! - Tennis in the Park: Grades 1-2 Saco Parks and Recreation is excited to continue our partnership with USTA this summer. This is a learn to play tennis program led by a USTA-approved coach. The Tennis in the Parks program develops the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. We focus on FUN and learning the basics through play. Basketball, Summer Youth Drop-In - Girls Grades 4-5 Summer Drop-In Basketball SPR is excited to offer six weeks of drop-in youth basketball this summer! This program is designed to get rising 4th-7th graders in the gym this off-season to continue building on their game play skills. Drop-in is informal, players don't need to bring anything with them for this program. We will split players up and scrimmage pick-up style for the duration of each session. All ability levels are welcome and encouraged, however please note that this is not an instructional program and players must have the ability to follow basketball rules. Players will play with different people every week depending on number of players in attendance.
