This program is available in two divisions for the Fall 2026 season.The first division is the Start Smart Mini Cheering Program for ages 2 years old through Pre-K. This program is an introduction to basic movement, music and fun, based on a cheering structure with emphasis on the fun! Our new Start Smart format for this age group will involve a parent partner during every session.  This is a developmentally appropriate introductory cheering program.  The program prepares children and their parents for organized cheering in a fun environment. Details: meets Mondays 5:30-6:00pm starting September 14,2026Our other division is the Rising Stars for Kindergarten – 2nd graders. Rising Stars will start as an introduction to cheering with more of the basics of cheering, jumps, stunting, music and fun and will move into more complicated cheering basics and more tumbling and stunting as the progression allows. 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM	Puzzle Palooza; The Great Puzzle Race - Puzzle Palooza Welcome to all who love figuring out puzzles. Your creative minds will be put to the test in SPR's fourth bi-annual Puzzle Palooza! On Friday, October 2nd from 6-8 PM right here in our very own Saco Community Center gym. In teams of 4-8. You will work together to put a 500 piece puzzle together. This is a race to the finish as we will see which team comes out on top. You will have two hours to try to complete the puzzle with your team. The winning team will win the Puzzle Palooza championship Belt. That team will also get to play for free and defend their title at the next puzzle palooza. Second and Third place teams will win prizes as well! We will have snacks and drinks available for all our participants. Please sign up as a family or group that you will be participating with. It will be $30 per group for this activity. Only One member of your team has to sign up and register. They will pay for the entire team. Once a "team captain" has signed up. Please email Cam (cplace@sacomaine.org) with the other members of your team.

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM	Cheering - Saco Stars Fall Mini Program - Rising Stars Mini Cheering 2026 Saco Parks & Recreation is excited to offer our Fall Mini Cheering Program! This program is available in two divisions for the Fall 2026 season.The first division is the Start Smart Mini Cheering Program for ages 2 years old through Pre-K. This program is an introduction to basic movement, music and fun, based on a cheering structure with emphasis on the fun! Our new Start Smart format for this age group will involve a parent partner during every session.  This is a developmentally appropriate introductory cheering program.  The program prepares children and their parents for organized cheering in a fun environment. Details: meets Mondays 5:30-6:00pm starting September 14,2026Our other division is the Rising Stars for Kindergarten – 2nd graders. Rising Stars will start as an introduction to cheering with more of the basics of cheering, jumps, stunting, music and fun and will move into more complicated cheering basics and more tumbling and stunting as the progression allows. Details: meets Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm starting September 16, 2026Don't wait!  Registration is open through August 14th, or as space allows. Registrations received after August 14th will be subject to an additional $5.00 fee.

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	SENIORity 2026- Exercise Classes - Line Dancing Classes- September-October Session Come join us for adult exercise classes! Participants must sign up in advance, and group sizes will be limited to about 15-17 per class. Participants will have two registration options:1) You may purchase the entire session at a Discounted rate of $6.00/class.2) You may purchase individual classes at $8.00/class.Payment for all sessions is due at registration.
